Camponotus Pilicornis - Beginner
Pilicornis are a beautiful species of carpenter ant from the warmer, southern countries of Europe and can be found in the woodland and its edge. They make their home in the roots of trees or any larger stones in the area.
They are polymorphic and have a fantastic worker colouration of amber thorax and brown gaster. This appearance makes them a rare and sought after treat for antkeepers.
