Drainage Layer | Red
 
This is perfect as the first layer in your sandwich nest or nest where substrate will be used for ants digging.
 
Add 10% of the total height of your soils/substrates as a dranage layer to become a safe place for excess water to go.  The layer will absorb it and release it slowly to retain substrate humidity.
