Grass seeds are perfect for founding colonies, expecially ones with nanitics or 1st generation workers. They are small, full of nutrients and packed with protien for your new pets.

Dwarf Perennial  = 50%
Strong Creeping Red Fescue = 50%
 
Perfect for Harvester ants (or other species that also enjoy seeds).
