Live Mealworms (Tenebrio molitor)
Provide your ant colonies with a nutritious and protein-rich food source with our live mealworms! Packed with essential nutrients, mealworms are an excellent choice for feeding growing ant colonies, promoting healthy brood development and colony growth.
 
Care Instructions:
Keep mealworms in a cool, dry container with ventilation. They thrive in oat or bran bedding and can be offered small pieces of fruits or vegetables (like carrots or potatoes) for hydration. Replace any uneaten food regularly to prevent mould.
 
Feeding Your Ants:
Once your mealworms arrive, they can be fed directly to your colony. For easier consumption, gently crush or cut the mealworms before offering them to your ants. Alternatively, you can freeze mealworms to humanely euthanise them and extend their shelf life, thawing them as needed for feeding.
