Pogonomyrmex Badius - Expert Species - Medium to Large in Size
Pogonomyrmex Badius is a large bright orange harvester ant found in the Southeast of the USA. They are a very active and agressive species, with them being the only species in the genus pogonomyrmex to get majors.
They tend to nest in sandy open terrarian and can be seen patrolling their large teratory looking for seeds or additional sources of protein, such as insects.
