Slippy feet - Powder is a quick drying and effective solution for a barrier which remains evapourates and leaves a layer of powder to flake away when your colony tries to climb it.
 
Usage instructions: SHAKE VERY WELL UNTIL IT IS ONE COLOUR
Make sure area is clean and dry
Apply an even layer 1 to 2 inches thick around the edge of the area you wish to prevent ants escaping using a cotton wall ball or swab. 
Clean away any runs with kitchen towel, only use a small amount of slippy feet to prevent it.
If the barrier wares down, You can easily wipe it anr re-apply.
Re-apply every 2 to 3 weeks.
