Keeping weaver ants can be an expensive endeavour.  Until now that is.  Oecophylla smaragdina have a reputation for being difficult.  However, they are really much easier than people think using our outworld.
 
We use this setup to raise colonies in our store and now with a V2 port, it makes for an easy and modular way to grow your weavers all the way to 150+ workers.
 
Welcome to simple
Simply make up the spare test tube using the provided blue sponge and insert both tubes into the frame.  Place the frame in the outworld and remove the cotton.  It really is that simple.  For best results provide a stable vivarium or overhead heat bulb simulate the sun.  
 
For barrier, we recommend using slippy feet - POWDER.  PTFE and Oil will not work for weavers as they are just too grippy.
